Known as a leader in transforming spaces in Auckland commercial interior design and fitouts, Cachet Group sought a custom fitout to bring their new office space to life, creating a place to welcome clients to where the magic happens.
Cachet Group approached Autex Acoustics® for its experience in custom design and flexible acoustics solutions that allow designers to push the boundaries of what is achievable.
Acoustics were essential in delivering a workplace that performs acoustically while expressing a refined, design-led identity—where functionality and aesthetics work as one.

The Solution
Managing reverberation in spaces that require clear communication to be functional was crucial.
In line with this brief, the Autex Acoustics team developed a custom Frontier™ system in Savoye—metaphorically and physically bending the realms of what is achievable in acoustic design with this unique piece.
The curling patterns add a distinctive feature to the ceiling, whilst protecting the conversations and well-being of those who use the space.
Creating a space for creativity to flow, focus meeting rooms were fitted out with Mirage™ Textured Panels in Rammed Earth.
The Results
The custom Frontier system creates a focal point in the boardroom, a striking feature to provide design inspiration and spark creative conversations.
The Mirage Textured Panels’ micro-patterns have a striking visual impact, creating a sense of movement and depth that transforms spaces into a tactile landscape.
