The Project Floors office is a sleek representation of how multiple acoustic solutions can work cohesively together. Their offices consist of an open plan workspace, island benches specifically designed for mood boarding with access to an array of material samples, and a small seated area. Ensuring that there is a clear separation between the office and creative space without a disjointed style was key. On top of this, the creative space needed to be engaging and an environment for authentic design discussions to take place.
The solution best fit to Project Floors needs was Lanes. Used in the style of Plane, with a timber finish, it helps to continue the timber aesthetic used internally. This biophilic design trend helps to bring a sense of calm and warmth throughout the room. While visually appealing, the use of Lanes also helps to create an acoustically comfortable experience for all inhabitants. This combination of acoustics and appealing aesthetics provides the perfect platform to nurture and grow your creative ideas.
The whole office space here has a consistant use of natural design elements. While this continuity helps to bring a designed space together, it can be beneficial to add alternative patterns that still fit into the overall theme. To do this, our Surface Finishes range was used in a stone finish. This introduced contrasting visual elements while sticking to the biophilic aesthetic.
The Acoustic Timber™ baffles used here have multiple fuinctions. The timbe grain look continues a visual theme that is also present in the Lanes installed. On top of this, the baffles form a slated partition that separates the office space without completely closing off areas. That is all achieved while improving the overall acoustic performanceof the office.
