Discover the credentials and initiatives that define our sustainability journey. Below, we’ve outlined what each one stands for.

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a document that holds information about the environmental impact of a product over its life-cycle, including embodied carbon. Our EPDs are created and verified in accordance with ISO 15804 (used for construction products and services).

Our products carry Declare labels from the International Living Future Institute and are classified as Living Building Challenge (LBC) Red List Free. This means that all ingredients are fully disclosed and are free from chemicals on the LBC Red List. Our labels are then third-party verified, providing independent confirmation that the disclosure and Red List screening are accurate.

The CDPH Standard Method (CA Section 01350) tests building products for emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and formaldehyde and compares them to maximum allowable concentrations derived from health-based exposure guidelines. All Autex Acoustics products comply with CDPH requirements, which are recognised by the LEED building rating scheme.

Autex holds ISO certifications across key areas: ISO 14001 for environmental management, ensuring we responsibly manage operational impacts; ISO 9001 for quality management, with rigorous processes from raw materials to finished products to meet expectations; and ISO 45001 for health and safety, safeguarding the wellbeing of our people through a certified management system.

Nature Positive is a product certification that delivers a holistic assessment framework focused on the repair of nature. Businesses that commit to this certification are actively protecting, restoring, and rebuilding the natural environment that supports and connects us all. Lumawool™ used in our Embrace™ Wall System has achieved this certification.
Certifying your green building? Our products meet a range of criteria for the LEED, WELL, BREEAM, and Green Star building rating systems, helping you achieve certification. Download the Autex Acoustics® Green Building Criteria document to find relevant information for your project.

Green Star is Australasia’s largest voluntary and truly holistic sustainability rating system for buildings, fitouts and communities. A Green Star certification proves that a project has met best practice sustainable design and build benchmarks set by the Green Building Council. Our products can help your project achieve a Green Star certification.

The International WELL Building Institute is leading a global movement to transform the health and wellbeing of communities through a people first approach to buildings. The WELL Building Standard provides a roadmap for creating and certifying spaces that advance human health and wellbeing. Our products can help your project achieve a WELL certification.

The US Green Building Council is committed to transforming how buildings are designed, constructed and operated through LEED. LEED is the most widely used green building rating system in the world, providing a framework for healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings, and offering a globally recognised symbol of sustainability achievement through the LEED certification. Our products can help your project achieve a LEED certification.

BREEAM is a leading sustainability assessment method for master-planning projects, infrastructure and buildings, third party certifying the assessment of an asset’s environmental, social and economic sustainability performance. BREEAM rated developments are recognised as sustainable environments that enhance the wellbeing of the people who live and work in them. Our products can help your project achieve a BREEAM rating.
